Pop star Demi Lovato is set to host the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday, November 15 from Barker Hanger.
E! revealed the news in a Twitter exchange with Lovato on Tuesday, October 27.
“We can keep a secret could you, @ddlovato? Any plans on Sunday, November 15th?” E! News tweeted, to which Lovato replied, “idk… maybe hosting @peopleschoice?!?!? #PCAs.”
Lovato has won five People’s Choice Award, including favorite pop artist and favorite female artist. She has also earned a total of 12 nominations.
“Demi Lovato is an international icon and we cannot wait for her to host the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards,” Jen Neal, General Manager of E! News, Live Events & Lifestyle Digital, said in a statement. “Her authentic presence and dynamic talents will make for an unforgettable night.”
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber and Megan Thee Stallion have received the most nominations this year, with six nods each. Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga have earned five nominations each.
Jennifer Lopez will receive the Icon of 2020 Award, while Tyler Perry and Tracee Ellis Ross will be honored with the People’s Champion Award and Fashion Icon Award, respectively.
