Dua Lipa released a new “Levitating” remix, featuring DaBaby, on Friday (October 2).
The visual, directed by Warren Fu, shows Dua and DaBaby dancing and rollerblading around a huge disco-themed elevator. The lift takes the pair and several other people to a celestial party in the sky.
“If you wanna run away with me, I know a galaxy/And I could take you for a ride,” Dua Lipa sings. “I had a premonition that we fell into a rhythm/Where the music don’t stop for life.”
“Left fight, right foot, levitating / Popstars, Dua Lipa with DaBaby,” raps DaBaby on his verse.
Dua a made the video with the help of Tik Tok users, who submitted 150,000 videos in response to a “challenge” to help conceive the video’s concept.
The original version of “Levitating” appeared on Dua’s second studio album, Future Nostalgia, released in March.
The album’s remix, Club Future Nostalgia, which came out in August, contained a remixed version of “Levitating,” featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott.
